About Us
The origins of Thompson Davis & Company date back to the late 1980s at Branch Cabell & Co. Branch Cabell & Co. was acquired in 2000 by Tucker Anthony. Shortly thereafter, RBC Dain Rauscher acquired Tucker Anthony. With the desire to be independent and continue to provide our clients with truly original, unbiased equity research and asset management, we formed our own firm, Thompson, Davis & Company.
