Virginia’s First Elementary Charter School Welcomes 150 New Students

RICHMOND (WWBT) - Patrick Henry School of Science and Arts officials and students, along with community members and local educators, recently celebrated the school’s grand opening.

The school officially opened its doors for the first time on August 11th as Virginia’s first elementary charter school. A Grand Opening celebration was held at the school on Monday, August 23rd.

Back-to-School hotline for parents

RICHMOND (WWBT) - Richmond Public Schools will operate a back-to-school telephone hotline Sept. 1 through Sept. 12 to assist parents, students and others with their questions and concerns regarding the 2010-2011 school year.
