Church Hill group rejects Route 5 traffic plans | News
RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A Church Hill Neighborhood Association says it's not backing any current plans for improving the Route 5 corridor.
It's been a controversial issue for several months now; how to best improve traffic flow from Varina to the city as development increases.
Two concepts have been introduced for solving the problem, but many worry the plans could ruin established neighborhoods. Among them, the Church Hill Association.
It voted to reject both options and they plan to make their position known to city and county authorities.
