Richmond Police investigates officers for Obama comments
News

Two Richmond Police officers are under investigation by the department over allegations they made inappropriate comments during a recent visit by President Barack Obama.

According to a press release, the officers did not have an assignment related to the President's detail. The comments are not considered criminal, but are being investigated and could result in administrative action.

At this time the Richmond Police Department isn't identifying the comments, the officers or their current work status. However, the department did say it has conferred with the Secret Service and that the Secret Service considers this matter resolved.
