Richmond woman found guilty in Christmas Eve murders
A jury has found a woman guilty of murder and robbery in a Christmas Eve double murder.
The jury reached the verdicts against Robin Mines Tuesday morning. She faces 5 years to life in prison on the robbery charge and another 20 years to life on the first-degree murder charge. Since this is a felony, she would not be eligible for parole.
Police say she was with her son, Jamal Clemons, when he shot and killed two people in Church Hill on December 24. The jury began deliberating Monday and continued Tuesday morning.
