An App to Report Issues to the City

The SeeClickFix app for smartphones continues to roll up result in Richmond.  For example:

  • 'Light out' was closed in one day
  • 'Bulk Trash pick up' was removed in one day

Ten Thousand Villages will open second Richmond store

RICHMOND, VA - According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Ten Thousand Villages will open a second location along 14th Street in October.  The store, currently open at its Carytown location, sells handmade crafts from underdeveloped countries.

City Police Using Doughnut Cliché for Good Cause

If you’re looking for Richmond Police officers next weekend, they’ll be at Krispy Kreme. But don't worry --  it’s all for a good cause.

Richmond Police and Krispy Kreme have joined forces for the “Cops and Doughnuts – to support annual Law Enforcement Torch Run®” fundraiser to benefit the Special Olympics.

“We thought we’d use the cops and doughnuts cliché to our advantage,” said Captain Harvey Powers. “We’re inviting the public to come out and help us help Special Olympics.”
